The "Pingraut PW System" is a preventive maintenance method that replaces traditional water-stopping boards and water-expanding seals by embedding hollow members (PW hoses) in the concrete joint in advance. Pingraut Smart Water-Stopping Method

The Pingrout water stop method is a hydrophilic one-component polyurethane resin injection water stop method jointly developed by Shimizu Corporation and Takeda Pharmaceutical Company in 1985. (Currently, the material manufacturer is Daiflex Co., Ltd.) The water stop material used in the Pingrout water stop method, hydrophilic one-component polyurethane resin (product name: NL Paste), undergoes a slow chemical reaction upon contact with water, generating carbon dioxide while foaming and curing.
